Hi, I’m Sarah Daugherty, a surface pattern designer and illustrator creating artwork for wallpaper, fabric, stationery, and home products.

My work blends traditional influences with a fresh, modern sensibility. I draw inspiration from botanicals, vintage patterns, and the small details that make everyday spaces feel beautiful and thoughtfully designed.

I design with real products in mind, considering scale, repeat, and how each artwork translates across different surfaces. I collaborate with brands, art directors, and small businesses on both licensing and custom projects. When I’m not designing, I’m often collecting inspiration from historic interiors, gardens, and textiles, and refining color palettes that feel timeless.
